LAUREN WEBER, DO, MSCP, ABOM
I graduated from Rutgers University with a degree in Nutritional Sciences. After college, I attended Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine. I started my medical training in Emergency Medicine at St. Barnabas in South Bronx, a level 1 trauma center. This was some of the best hands-on experience you can get.
I am a double board-certified physician in Family Medicine and Obesity Medicine. Upon completing my residency at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine, I pursued further education and training, which led me to a Specialized Women’s Health Fellowship at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic. This invaluable experience helped me develop my skills and knowledge, and I will forever be grateful to Dr. Holly Thacker. I am also proudly certified by The Menopause Society (MSCP). Following my fellowship, I worked as a Women’s Health Specialist in both a Women’s Health practice and a multi-specialty care practice before opening my own practice.
I was introduced to Red Light Therapy in 2015 by a friend and colleague, Dr. Carla Kuon; it played a crucial role in healing my biceps tendonitis, which persisted for six months and was recovered within a month utilizing her handheld device. Having experienced the possibilities for myself, I began to research deeply, and I continue to learn how Red Light Therapy can help us heal.
I launched Deeply Vital Medical, a whole-body Light Therapy Medical Practice, in 2022. Over the last year, Light Therapy has helped me, my family, and my clients to heal many aches and pains. Improved muscle spasms, whole-body inflammation, broken bones, menstrual cramps, neuropathy, hair loss, collagen production, cold and allergy symptoms, diabetic wounds, skin health, eczema, psoriasis, rashes, stress, anxiety, depression, tendonitis, bursitis, plantar fasciitis, improved sleep, focus, and energy, fitness, endurance, decreased stretch marks and scars, chemotherapy-induced hair loss and neuropathy, fertility (a client was having difficulty getting pregnant before trying whole-body RLT), and even improved erectile dysfunction and orgasms!
Inspired by my wonderful late mother, whom I am grateful to look like and share many qualities with, my passion is helping others live healthier, more fulfilled lives with less pain and more vitality.
My passion extends to my interest in educating my patients and clients on prevention, nutrition, all things women’s health, sexual health, fitness, weight management, a healthy lifestyle, and Light Therapy, which includes the magical yet science-backed Red Light Therapy.
I believe in shared decision-making when it comes to your care. I provide you with the tools to make choices based on evidence-based information.
When not under my Lights or working, I enjoy various interests, such as exploring NYC, gardening, exercising, dancing, traveling, crafting, cooking, baking, and creating my homemade cosmedics.
I hope to see you soon under the Lights!
